ANIMAL CELL AND CELL MEMBRANE MODEL

 Animal Cell:

     

     An animal cell is a kind of eukaryotic cell that has different cellular organelles and a true, membrane-bound nucleus but no cell wall. Generally speaking, animal cells are smaller than plant cells.  The uneven shape is another quality that sets it apart. This is because there isn't a cell wall. However, because both plant and animal cells descended from eukaryotic cells, they share additional cellular organelles.[1]

   Cell organelles : Nucleus, Mitochondria, Endoplasmic reticulum, lysosomes, peroxisomes, centrioles, Golgi apparatus etc

Aim: to prepare a model for cell and cell membrane

Materials required:

   1)Theromocols

   2) Fevicol

   3) Acrylic Paint and brush

   4)tooth picks

   5) Chart papers

Designing and Making:

 

Cut the Theromocols depending on the required shapes needed as reference to the diagram above, stick the chart paper above it and paint them the needed color's use tooth pick to attach them to the cytoplasmic model so it can be a removable parts.
